“Why did I join NAHN Central FL chapter?
I’ll start by asking, Why not? Why not be a part of a Hispanic nursing community that cares about our population’s wellbeing and aims to providing support through outreach community events, education, and coaching and mentoring of nursing students and nurses who would like to grow as leaders or would like a change in their carrier path? Not only do I want to be a part of this, but I want to witness and experience the great things we can accomplish as an association. Nursing has the power to change healthcare for the better, and I think this is a good place to start. “

"I love to give back to the community and joining an organization like NAHN helps me with fulfilling my passion. I have seen first-hand how inspiring it is to join an association like this as a nursing student. It provided me with opportunities my nursing school didn’t. It inspired me to stay motivated and to aspire for a higher nursing degree. I love NAHN!
